# Q: What is that beeping?

Q: What is that beeping?

A: Could be either your carbon monoxide (CO) or propane detector, see which one it is first. They beep usually for a few different reasons:

1: Either propane or CO carbon monoxide is detected, meaning they truly sense an issue.

2: Most of them run on 12VDC and battery is low and will set it off.

3. It is due to be replaced, they have a 3-5 yrs lifespan..

4. Certain aerosols used will set them off

5. Dog or Human farts will set them off.
